Abbaye Notre-Dame d'Orval

Attention: Dernier départ en visite: 1h00 avant la fermeture de l'abbaye. La visite des ruines de l'ancienne Abbaye cistercienne vous offre de découvrir un site chargé d'authenticité au fond d'une vallée où jaillit la fontaine Mathilde. La Maison des hôtes vous transporte dans le scriptorium cistercien. Les animations vidéos sur de grands lutrins vous font découvrir l'histoire du monastère et à la vie de la communauté monastique aujourd'hui (10 minutes ). Des maquettes animées vous initient ensuite aux trois époques de l'architecture de l'abbaye. Le circuit d'interprétation dans les ruines médiévales vous explique la destination des lieux monastiques.
